The Greater Eatonville Chamber of Commerce facilitates a healthy and thriving local economy.  The Chamber promotes individual success, small business development, and entrepreneurial activities by providing information and education, umbrella services, and leadership to local businesses and members.  The Chamber actively participates in the projects and activities of other agencies and organizations to communicate and further Chamber objectives.  The Chamber encourages broad participation among the community, local organizations, the Town of Eatonville, and other government agencies in all matters affecting the economy, environment, and community.  The Chamber supports efforts to protect and conserve natural and cultural resources, recognizing that stewardship of the natural environment and Eatonville’s heritage are essential to the local economy.

 Next Greater Eatonville Chamber of Commerce Meeting:

MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Thursday, July 17, 2008
Northwest Trek

Please join us for a workshop an update on USDA programs for the Greater Eatonville Community. 
 

Bruce Whittle of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program and other USDA staff will be at Northwest Trek (in the Theatre) at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17th for a two hour workshop – focusing on the programs his agency provides that address elements of the Greater Eatonville Chamber of Commerce’s Strategic Plan.   We will then move to the Hellyer Center for the 11:30 luncheon where Bruce and staff will present the agencies programs and continue the discussion from the morning.  For those wishing to attend the workshop, please meet at the NW Trek main entrance at 8:45.  For those just attending just the luncheon, please turn off at the maintenance facility and proceed to the Hellyer Center.  There will be signs directing you. 

Luncheon location this month is at the Hellyer Center, NW Trek, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 17th.  Cost is $8.00.  Box lunches will be prepared in advance by Louise Carson, so it is important to RSVP your attendance.  Please make reservations by noon on Monday, July 14th.
